Healthy Habits and other Preventions

MTF may work with other agencies in Oldham County to sponsor prevention programs or speakers visiting local schools and organizations on selected topics.

UP Stream assistance is about education, opportunities and prevention.  The examples discussed in board meetings were agencies like the Oldham County Health Department and Baptist Hospital which offered education programs for health prevention issues as well as monitoring local businesses and general sanitation.  What resonated even more about the UP Stream assistance for our board was offering scholarships to you Oldham County students to earn health care knowledge and certifications.
